Job Title: Compliance Officer – Payments Company

Job Description: Our Client is a fast-growing payments company seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the business operates in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices within the payments and fintech sector.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the business operates in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices
• Investigate and escalate suspicious activities in accordance with company procedures
• Stay updated on regulatory developments affecting the payments and fintech industry
• Maintain compliance records and reporting documentation
• Review marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance
• Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments
• Support AML/CFT monitoring and suspicious transaction screening procedures
• Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities as required

Qualifications Needed:

• Experience working within a regulated financial services, fintech, payment institution, or banking environment
• Knowledge of UAE and international compliance standards is advantageous
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Ability to assess risk and make sound compliance decisions
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
