Job Title: Compliance Officer and MLRO

Job Description: Seeking a Compliance Officer and MLRO. The role requires proven experience serving as MLRO or in a senior AML compliance role at a UAE-regulated virtual asset or payment entity — with CAMS or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for OpenFX’s UAE-regulated virtual asset and payment entity
• Maintain compliance records and execute all regulatory reporting obligations applicable to a UAE-regulated entity
• Review marketing materials and product communications to ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop, implement, and maintain AML/CFT policies, procedures, and compliance controls
• Oversee KYC, CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening for OpenFX’s clients and operations
• Manage regulatory relationships with applicable UAE authorities — VARA, CBUAE, or relevant regulators
• Lead compliance monitoring and testing, reporting findings to senior management
• Deliver AML/CFT training and build compliance awareness across all business functions

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven experience serving as MLRO or in a senior AML compliance role at a UAE-regulated virtual asset or payment entity — required
• CAMS or other compliance-related certification — required
• Deep knowledge of UAE virtual asset and payment regulatory frameworks
• Experience maintaining compliance records and meeting all UAE regulatory reporting obligations
• Strong AML/CFT programme management experience including KYC, transaction monitoring, and STR filing
• Excellent written and verbal communication for regulatory engagement and internal advisory
