Job Title: Compliance Manager

Job Description: As Compliance Manager for Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance within the Group Compliance team’s Second Line of Defence at a global financial super app, you will support the Head of Compliance for the UAE to provide effective oversight of regional and local MLRO teams and First Line financial crime teams, ensuring products and processes meet global AML/CTF regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Compliance (UAE) to provide effective oversight of Second Line of Defence regional and local MLRO teams and First Line of Defence FinCrime teams
• Maintain and update FinCrime and Regulatory Compliance policies
• Provide oversight and support to the identification, remediation, and resolution of FinCrime-related risk incidents
• Establish, maintain, and review dashboards on an ongoing basis to identify areas that might fall outside of risk appetite and require further investigation
• Work closely with global Regulatory Compliance Managers to ensure that local risk management frameworks and processes are aligned with global ones
• Carry out testing in a purely digital environment to manage compliance risk
• Translate global AML/CTF regulatory requirements into the best possible customer outcomes

Qualifications Needed:

• Extensive experience in the financial industry with proven experience in a compliance function
• Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulatory requirements and their practical application
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a purely digital, fast-growing environment
• Experience working across First and Second Lines of Defence in a compliance context
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to coordinate with global compliance teams
