Job Title: Compliance Officer

Job Description: As a Compliance Officer – Saudi Arabia, you will lead local compliance activities for a global payments processor and merchant-of-record platform, overseeing KYC onboarding, transaction monitoring, AML/CFT controls, remittance compliance, regulatory relationships, risk assessments, reporting, and staff awareness for the Saudi market.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee KYC onboarding and periodic customer-record updates in Saudi Arabia
• Ensure customer identification and verification meet local and international requirements
• Implement and enhance transaction-monitoring processes for suspicious-activity detection
• Act as the primary contact for AML/CFT matters in Saudi Arabia
• Develop policies and procedures tailored to Saudi payments and remittance regulation
• Maintain relationships with regulators and communicate regulatory changes internally
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and coordinate mitigation strategies with other departments
• Prepare internal and external reports and deliver AML/CFT training to staff

Qualifications Needed:

• Practical knowledge of Saudi AML/CFT and payments-industry regulation
• Experience with KYC onboarding and transaction-monitoring operations
• Understanding of remittances and cross-border payment compliance
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and communicate findings clearly
• Strong stakeholder-management skills for regulators, banks, and internal teams
• Ability to work effectively in an international, customer-focused fintech environment
