Job Title: Compliance Analyst

Job Description: As Compliance Analyst supporting the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange’s Bahrain entity, you will fulfil the firm’s regulatory, AML/CFT, sanctions, and governance responsibilities in line with Central Bank of Bahrain requirements, providing day-to-day support to the Deputy MLRO and MLRO across onboarding, transaction monitoring, investigations, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Deputy MLRO and MLRO in the day-to-day execution of the firm’s compliance, AML/CFT, sanctions, and financial crime responsibilities
• Review and assess customer onboarding, KYC/KYB, CDD, EDD, periodic review, trigger-based review, and remediation cases prepared by the central team
• Conduct customer risk assessments and investigate unusual transactional patterns
• Perform sanctions screening, adverse media, and PEP reviews
• Prepare internal compliance reports, management information, dashboards, and committee materials for senior management
• Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and independent reviews
• Liaise with central teams and internal stakeholders across operations, customer support, legal, risk, and product to support compliance reviews and investigations
• Provide broader support to the Compliance Department, including training new joiners and preparing meeting materials and action trackers

Qualifications Needed:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in compliance, AML/CFT, or financial crime, preferably in fintech or virtual assets
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC/KYB, CDD, EDD, and transaction monitoring
• Familiarity with the regulatory requirements of the Central Bank of Bahrain
• Experience in customer risk assessments and investigating unusual transactional patterns
• Proficiency in sanctions screening, adverse media, and PEP reviews
• Professional certifications such as ACAMS or ICA are an advantage
