Job Title: Senior Accountant – Fintech / Payments

Job Description: As a Senior Accountant at a digital payments and fintech platform in Dubai, you will lead accounting operations — managing financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance accounting for a fast-growing UAE fintech and payments company. You will ensure accurate, timely financial management and apply senior accounting expertise to the complex, high-volume payment and fintech accounting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead accounting operations — managing financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance accounting
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for a fintech and payments platform
• Conduct payment reconciliation, transaction accounting, and ledger management across the payments platform
• Prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable financial reporting standards
• Coordinate with external auditors, banking partners, and regulatory advisors on accounting and compliance matters
• Support financial planning and analysis activities — budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Monitor UAE fintech and payments accounting regulatory developments

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Senior Accountant experience within a fintech, payments, or financial technology company
• Strong payments reconciliation, transaction accounting, and fintech financial reporting skills
• Understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable fintech accounting regulatory requirements
• Excellent month-end close management and financial reporting accuracy
• ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• UAE fintech or payments accounting experience strongly preferred
