Job Title: UAE Sovereign Financial Cloud Engineer

Job Description: As a UAE Sovereign Financial Cloud Engineer at an AI and cloud infrastructure company partnering with CBUAE on the world’s first sovereign financial cloud, you will build and maintain AI-powered financial cloud infrastructure — applying cloud engineering expertise to a landmark UAE government and banking technology initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain AI-powered financial cloud infrastructure for the UAE’s sovereign financial cloud initiative
• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architecture for UAE banking and financial services workloads
• Ensure all financial cloud infrastructure meets UAE government security, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with CBUAE, UAE banking institutions, and government technology teams on cloud delivery
• Implement monitoring, observability, and resilience for production sovereign financial cloud systems
• Coordinate with AI, Security, and Compliance teams on sovereign cloud platform governance and delivery
• Produce cloud engineering documentation and architecture for UAE sovereign financial cloud knowledge base
• Monitor global sovereign cloud, AI financial infrastructure, and banking cloud regulatory developments

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Cloud Engineer experience with AI-powered infrastructure and financial services or government cloud
• Strong cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and AI cloud services integration skills
• Deep understanding of UAE government cloud security standards and financial services cloud compliance
• Relevant cloud certification — AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or equivalent — preferred
• Excellent cross-functional engineering coordination and senior UAE banking technology stakeholder communication
• GCC government cloud, sovereign cloud, or UAE financial infrastructure engineering experience strongly preferred
