Job Title: Technical Card Systems Expert – Banking

Job Description: As a Technical Card Systems Expert for Banking at PayTech Nexus, you will serve as a technical subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to banking clients, providing hands-on expertise across card processing, issuing, acquiring, and payment platform technologies. You will lead the full technology lifecycle from requirements definition and solution architecture through integration testing, implementation, and production readiness [citation:1][citation:11].

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical subject-matter expertise across card issuing, acquiring, card processing, payment platforms, and banking technology environments.
• Support solution design, system integration, API/interface requirements, data flows, and technical architecture for card and payment initiatives.
• Lead or support end-to-end implementation activities including technical discovery, requirements gathering, integration testing, certification, migration, and production readiness.
• Identify technical dependencies, risks, gaps, and implementation challenges, and develop practical mitigation plans.

Qualifications Needed:

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in banking, digital payment, card solutions, or the fintech industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong technical understanding of card issuing, acquiring, transaction processing, payment platforms, APIs, and integration architectures.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentation); Arabic preferred.
