Job Title: System Administrator & Automation Specialist

Job Description: As a System Administrator and Automation Specialist, you will manage all IT operations jobs, including End of Day, Start of Day, and file transfers, ensuring high availability and process resiliency [citation:1][citation:9].

Responsibilities:

• Manage and automate IT operations jobs (e.g., End of Day, Start of Day, File Transfers) using Control-M.
• Install, configure, deploy, and upgrade Control-M components (Server, EM, Agents) across Windows, Unix, and Linux environments [citation:1][citation:9].
• Engage with stakeholders to implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and suggest proactive process improvements.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) test activities by ensuring critical operations are covered by automated workflows.
• Monitor alerts and ensure 24×7 service availability, coordinating patch and vulnerability management activities [citation:1][citation:9].

Qualifications Needed:

• 2-5 years of experience in IT Operations with proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows system administration [citation:1][citation:9].
• Solid experience as a Control-M scheduler in a distributed environment; expert-level knowledge of Control-M Workload Automation tool is mandatory.
• Strong scripting skills in Unix Shell, Powershell, or Bash to automate tasks within Control-M [citation:9].
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent; experience in banking or a 24/7 regulated financial organization is preferred [citation:1][citation:9].
