Job Title: Senior Test Engineer – Cards & Payments

Job Description: As a Senior Test Engineer specializing in Cards and Payments at a globally established quality engineering and technology company, you will apply 2–5 years of experience in software testing — preferably in banking, fintech, or payment processing industries — to deliver rigorous quality assurance for card and payment platform implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Apply 2–5 years of software testing experience in banking, fintech, or payment processing to senior QA delivery
• Design and execute test strategies for card payment platforms — credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, and UPI payments
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for card and payment processing systems
• Apply extensive knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging protocols and payment system standards to test design
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Banking Operations teams on test coverage and defect resolution
• Produce comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reports for card and payment QA engagements
• Support UAT activities with banking and fintech clients on card payment platform implementations
• Stay current on payments testing standards, card scheme compliance testing, and QA best practices

Qualifications Needed:

• 2–5 years of experience in software testing preferably in banking, fintech, or payment processing — required
• Proven experience working as a technical BA or QA engineer in Cards and Payments — Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Prepaid Cards, UPI Payments
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging protocols and card payment processing standards
• Strong functional and integration testing skills for card and payment system QA delivery
• Excellent analytical and defect management skills for banking and fintech quality assurance
• UAE or GCC banking and payments testing experience preferred
