Job Title: Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager – Crypto Exchange & Virtual Assets

Job Description: As Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager for a global online trading platform’s crypto exchange and virtual asset business, you will design, implement, and oversee a robust compliance framework tailored to the unique challenges of crypto markets, ensuring adherence to global regulatory frameworks governing digital assets while safeguarding the company’s integrity and reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement compliance strategies and frameworks specific to crypto exchange operations, digital wallets, token listings, stablecoins, staking, and custody services
• Monitor global crypto and blockchain regulatory developments, including MiCA, the FATF Travel Rule, SEC/CFTC, FCA, MAS, and VARA, ensuring internal policies remain current
• Oversee licensing across multiple jurisdictions for Virtual Asset Service Providers and manage ongoing regulatory reporting obligations
• Manage regulator engagements across jurisdictions where the crypto exchange operates
• Partner with product, operations, and technology teams to embed compliance-by-design principles in exchange features and token listings
• Anticipate regulatory trends in digital assets and translate them into actionable compliance strategies

Qualifications Needed:

• Strong experience liaising with crypto regulators, financial intelligence units, and financial services authorities
• Deep understanding of global crypto and blockchain regulatory frameworks such as MiCA, the FATF Travel Rule, and VARA
• Experience overseeing VASP licensing across multiple jurisdictions and managing regulatory reporting obligations
• Ability to translate complex, evolving digital-asset regulation into practical compliance frameworks for product and engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage stakeholders ranging from regulators to developers
