Job Title: Senior Credit Underwriter – Asset Finance & Leasing

Job Description: As a Senior Credit Underwriter for Asset Finance and Leasing at a UAE banking or finance organization, you will apply senior credit underwriting expertise — evaluating asset finance and leasing credit proposals, assessing borrower risk profiles, and managing the credit approval process for a professionally managed UAE asset finance and leasing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Apply senior credit underwriting expertise to asset finance and leasing credit proposal evaluation
• Evaluate financial statements, asset valuations, repayment capacity, and lessee risk profiles
• Prepare senior credit assessment reports and asset finance risk ratings for Credit Committee review
• Conduct due diligence on asset finance proposals — equipment valuations, lease structures, and credit risk
• Coordinate with Commercial, Legal, and Risk teams on asset finance credit governance and delivery
• Ensure all credit underwriting activities comply with UAE banking regulations and internal standards
• Produce senior credit underwriting reports and management information for credit leadership review
• Monitor UAE asset finance, leasing, and credit regulatory market developments for strategy intelligence

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Senior Credit Underwriter experience with asset finance and leasing credit evaluation background
• Strong asset finance credit analysis, lease structure assessment, and UAE banking credit standards
• Deep understanding of UAE credit regulatory requirements for asset finance and leasing operations
• ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent qualification preferred for senior credit underwriter mandate
• Excellent credit committee presentation and senior asset finance stakeholder communication skills
• GCC banking or asset finance senior credit underwriting experience strongly preferred
