Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst

Job Description: As a Senior Credit Analyst at one of the UAE’s most innovative banks in an Emiratized role, you will prepare credit memos and recommendations for approval — maintaining accurate records and reporting of credit evaluations for a bank recognized as among Forbes World’s Best Banks and committed to excellence and innovation in UAE banking for over 50 years.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare credit memos and recommendations for approval across corporate and retail credit portfolios
• Maintain accurate records and reporting of all credit evaluations for regulatory and management review
• Conduct thorough credit analysis — evaluating borrower financial information, credit history, and collateral
• Assess credit risk and produce structured credit assessment reports with clear risk recommendations
• Ensure all credit analysis activities comply with UAE Central Bank credit regulations and internal policies
• Monitor credit portfolio performance — identifying deterioration trends and escalating to senior management
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Risk, and Compliance on credit application processing and quality
• Support ICAAP, IFRS9, ECL calculations, and stress testing data collection activities

Qualifications Needed:

• UAE National (Emirati) — required for this Senior Credit Analyst UAE National Emiratized role
• Proven credit analysis experience with strong financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment skills
• Understanding of UAE Central Bank credit regulations and internal banking credit policy frameworks
• Strong credit memo preparation, portfolio monitoring, and risk reporting skills
• Arabic language skills essential for UAE National credit team and client engagement
• Relevant finance or credit qualification (CFA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
