Job Title: Senior Compliance Manager

Job Description: The Senior Compliance Manager will own the compliance monitoring programme, provide regulatory guidance to the business, manage DFSA relationships, and ensure the company’s policies and operations remain current with applicable UAE and DIFC regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the compliance function for CMC Markets Dubai, ensuring the business operates in full alignment with DFSA rules, DIFC laws, and applicable UAE regulatory requirements
• Own the compliance monitoring and testing programme, including surveillance, complaint handling, and regulatory breach management
• Serve as the primary point of contact with the DFSA, managing regulatory submissions, notifications, and supervisory engagements
• Provide regulatory guidance and second-line advice to business functions including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product
• Manage the implementation of new regulatory requirements, rules changes, and DFSA policy updates
• Maintain and update the compliance framework including policies, procedures, risk registers, and training programmes
• Report to and partner with the UK Group Compliance function, ensuring alignment between local and group compliance standards
• Oversee AML/CFT compliance, sanctions screening, and client due diligence standards in line with DFSA AML requirements

Qualifications Needed:

• Significant experience in a senior compliance role within a DFSA-regulated entity or comparable financial services regulator (FCA, MAS, ASIC)
• Strong working knowledge of DFSA rules, DIFC regulations, and UAE AML/CFT requirements
• Experience managing regulatory relationships, supervisory visits, and regulatory submissions
• Background in forex, CFD, capital markets, or online trading businesses preferred
• ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent compliance qualification desirable
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
