Job Title: Senior Associate – International Arbitration (3–5 PQE)

Job Description: As a Senior Associate in International Arbitration, you will be responsible for advising clients on complex commercial disputes — including financial services, fintech, and cross-border commercial arbitration matters. You will join the international arbitration practice of a globally leading law firm, contributing to high-stakes arbitration mandates that frequently involve regulated financial services and fintech-related contractual and regulatory disputes.

Responsibilities:*

• Advise clients on complex commercial disputes including financial services, fintech, and cross-border commercial arbitration
• Draft arbitration pleadings, witness statements, legal memoranda, and procedural submissions for international arbitration proceedings
• Conduct legal research on international arbitration law, financial services disputes, and commercial contract law
• Support senior partners on high-stakes international arbitration mandates across MENA and international seats
• Manage arbitration proceedings — coordinating with tribunals, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
• Build client relationships through professional advisory delivery in contentious financial services and commercial disputes
• Conduct document review, evidence analysis, and factual matrix development for complex arbitration cases
• Stay current on international arbitration developments, UAE arbitration law, and financial services dispute trends

Qualifications Needed:

• Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in international arbitration
• Experience in commercial, financial services, or fintech-related arbitration preferred
• Strong legal drafting, analytical, and argumentation skills for complex commercial dispute proceedings
• Excellent English and ideally Arabic communication skills for MENA dispute contexts
• Dubai or Abu Dhabi-based or willing to relocate
