Job Title: Senior Analyst / Associate – Corporate Finance

Job Description: As a Senior Analyst or Associate in the Corporate Finance Oil and Gas Group at a globally leading independent investment bank recognized for delivering independent strategic and financial advice, you will work on large, complex transactions in the oil and gas industry — including across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors as well as molecule-related alternative energies. You will apply strong LBO and DCF modelling skills to cross-border deals spanning the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities:

• Work on large, complex transactions in the oil and gas industry — upstream, midstream, downstream, and alternative energy sectors
• Apply strong LBO and DCF modelling skills to M&A, capital solutions, restructuring, and financial advisory mandates
• Work on transactions providing exposure to a broad range of client industries and investment banking services
• Prepare, analyze, and help explain historical and projected financial information for deal execution
• Supervise junior staff members in financial analyses and transaction execution activities
• Conduct sector research, due diligence, and market intelligence for oil and gas client coverage in MENA and APAC
• Prepare pitch books, information memoranda, and transaction advisory documents for corporate finance clients
• Regularly work on cross-border deals spanning the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region

Qualifications Needed:

• Strong LBO and DCF modelling skills — required for this Corporate Finance Oil and Gas role
• 3–6 months minimum prior internship experience in Investment Banking; M&A/Corporate Finance experience preferable
• Solid accounting and finance knowledge including understanding of financial statements analysis
• Excellent written and analytical communication for client-facing investment banking advisory
• Motivated professional with ability to work cooperatively at all levels in a rapidly changing environment
• CFA, ACA, or equivalent qualification preferred
