Job Title: Risk Officer Bitoasis

Job Description: As a Risk Officer Bitoasis, you will develop, implement, and monitor the comprehensive risk framework of a regulated cryptocurrency exchange in Bahrain, covering market, credit, operational, cybersecurity, AML/CFT, and regulatory risks while reporting risk exposure and strengthening controls, incident readiness, and organizational risk culture.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the enterprise risk-management framework
• Assess market, credit, operational, cybersecurity, AML/CFT, and regulatory risks
• Identify risks across trading, custody, compliance, technology, and operations
• Develop mitigation strategies, policies, and controls for material risk exposures
• Track key risk indicators against approved risk appetite
• Provide risk-profile reports to senior management and the board
• Maintain incident-response plans and conduct post-incident reviews
• Deliver risk-awareness training and promote a strong internal risk culture

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, risk management, business administration, or a related field
• Five to seven years of risk-management experience, preferably in financial services
• Cryptocurrency or fintech experience is highly desirable
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain risks, and AML frameworks
• Professional certification such as FRM, APRM, or PRM is preferred
• CBB approval and Arabic-language proficiency are desirable for the role
