Job Title: Risk Manager / Officer

Job Description: As a Risk Manager / Officer, you will lead enterprise risk management for a Qatar-based BNPL fintech, covering credit, operational, regulatory, fraud, and strategic risks while aligning frameworks with Qatar Central Bank expectations and the company’s growth plans.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement an enterprise-wide risk-management framework
• Align risk policies with Qatar Central Bank guidance and fintech standards
• Develop credit-risk policies, automated scoring, and customer segmentation approaches
• Monitor payment behavior, portfolio performance, and emerging credit risks
• Assess merchant, fraud, operational, regulatory, and strategic risks
• Define risk indicators, limits, controls, and escalation procedures
• Prepare risk reports and recommendations for senior management
• Collaborate with product, compliance, technology, and operations teams

Qualifications Needed:

• Experience in enterprise, credit, operational, or fintech risk management
• Knowledge of credit-risk modelling and data-driven scoring approaches
• Understanding of fraud analytics, merchant risk, and payment behavior
• Familiarity with Qatar Central Bank guidance or regulated financial services
• Ability to design risk frameworks, policies, controls, and reporting
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder skills
