Job Title: Regulatory & Licensing Officer

Job Description: As a Regulatory & Licensing Officer at a global payments company operating in the MENA region, you will oversee regulatory affairs, compliance, and legal advisory functions within fintech and payments sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring the company’s regulatory compliance and licensing activities across the region, working at the intersection of financial technology and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee regulatory affairs and compliance activities for the MENA region
• Manage licensing processes and regulatory relationships
• Provide legal advisory support on fintech and payments regulatory matters
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions
• Coordinate with internal teams on regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting fintech and payments
• Support the company’s expansion and licensing activities in the region

Qualifications Needed:

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or legal advisory roles within fintech, payments, or financial institutions
• Deep understanding of financial services regulatory frameworks in the MENA region
• Experience with licensing processes and regulatory engagement
• Strong legal and compliance advisory skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
• Experience in payments or fintech sectors is required
