Job Title: Reconciliation & Settlement Analyst

Job Description: The Reconciliation & Settlement Analyst will reconcile transaction data across payment channels, banking accounts, and internal systems — ensuring accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and managing settlement processes to tight operational timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliation of HALA’s payment transaction volumes across all payment channels — POS, gateway, e-commerce, and direct payment rails
• Reconcile banking account positions and settlement flows across HALA’s banking partners in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt
• Identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in coordination with Operations, Finance, and Technology teams
• Manage settlement processes for merchant disbursements — ensuring accurate and timely payment to HALA’s merchant partners
• Maintain accurate reconciliation records and documentation for audit and regulatory review
• Produce daily and monthly reconciliation reports for Finance and Operations leadership
• Support implementation of reconciliation automation and process improvements
• Liaise with banking partners on transaction queries, settlement disputes, and nostro account management

Qualifications Needed:

• 2–4 years of reconciliation, settlement, or payments operations experience within fintech, banking, or payments processing
• Strong understanding of payment transaction flows, merchant settlement, and nostro reconciliation
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data reconciliation and analysis
• Experience with payment processing systems and high-volume transaction data preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to work to tight daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh
