Job Title: QA Lead

Job Description: The QA Lead will own the test strategy for key product areas — building automated and manual testing frameworks, partnering with engineering squads, and driving quality culture across the development lifecycle at one of the GCC’s most prominent fintech platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Define and own the QA strategy, test plans, and quality standards across assigned product areas
• Build and maintain automated test suites covering API, integration, UI, and regression testing
• Partner with engineering squads and product managers to integrate quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Lead the design and implementation of QA frameworks and tooling that scale with Tamara’s rapid growth
• Mentor QA engineers and promote a culture of quality ownership across the engineering organization
• Track and report on quality metrics including defect rates, test coverage, and regression stability
• Collaborate with DevOps and Platform teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Drive shift-left testing practices to identify and resolve quality issues early in the development process

Qualifications Needed:

• 5+ years of QA experience with at least 2 years in a lead or senior QA engineering role
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured) and load/performance testing tools
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery practices
• Experience testing fintech, payments, or e-commerce products is preferred
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to assess risk and prioritize testing effort effectively
