Job Title: Product Manager – Open Finance APIs

Job Description: The Product Manager will define the vision and roadmap for Lean’s API product suite — working closely with Engineering, Data, Client Success, and Commercial teams to build APIs that clients love and that drive Lean’s position as the infrastructure layer for MENA Open Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product roadmap for Lean’s core Open Finance APIs — including account data, payment initiation, balance checks, and identity verification
• Define product vision, strategy, and OKRs aligned with Lean’s mission to power MENA’s Open Finance ecosystem
• Conduct client research and API usage analysis to understand developer and business needs
• Write clear API product specifications, acceptance criteria, and developer documentation requirements
• Partner with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality, developer-friendly API products
• Work with the Client Success team to gather feedback and translate it into product improvements
• Monitor API adoption, performance metrics, and client satisfaction — driving continuous product iteration
• Stay current on global Open Banking and Open Finance standards (PSD2, CDR, Saudi Open Finance Framework) to ensure Lean leads in API capability

Qualifications Needed:

• 4–6 years of product management experience with strong preference for API products, developer platforms, or fintech infrastructure
• Technical literacy — comfortable discussing REST APIs, authentication (OAuth), webhooks, and developer experience design
• Data-driven product approach with strong analytical skills
• Understanding of Open Banking, Open Finance, or payment APIs is a significant advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in Arabic and English
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh
