Job Title: Product Designer

Job Description: The Product Designer will lead end-to-end design processes, from initial research to polished UI/UX designs, working across a diverse ecosystem of engineers, designers, analysts, and product experts to create unique Tamara experiences.

Responsibilities:*

• Translate open-ended, conceptual ideas into tangible product features
• Lead end-to-end design processes, from initial research to polished UI/UX designs
• Design flows and experiences that simplify complex actions into usable interfaces
• Give and receive feedback from designers and the broader product team to continually improve output quality
• Drive partnerships with product managers, engineers, researchers, creative designers, and content strategists to oversee user experience from conception to launch
• Represent design to broader product teams and leaders, articulating the rationale behind design decisions

Qualifications Needed:

• 2+ years of experience designing and shipping features with end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms
• 2+ years of interaction design experience with knowledge to define how an experience should behave based on user needs
• 2+ years of visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic sense
• 2+ years of strategic product thinking with experience developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making data-informed decisions
• Ability to use appropriate prototyping tools to demonstrate how a flow or interaction will work
• Portfolio submission required
