Job Title: Power BI Specialist – Banking / Financial Services Analytics

Job Description: As a Power BI Specialist for a banking and financial services analytics engagement, you will be responsible for developing reports and providing insights using the Power BI tool — building dashboards, analyzing performance metrics, and producing analytical intelligence that supports strategic decision-making for banking and financial services stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reports and provide insights to banking and financial services stakeholders using the Power BI tool
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical reports for banking operations, compliance, and commercial teams
• Analyze performance metrics across banking and financial services datasets — producing actionable business intelligence
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Operations, and Business teams on analytics requirements and data accuracy
• Design and implement Power BI data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations for financial data
• Ensure data quality and accuracy across all Power BI reports and banking analytics dashboards
• Produce ad-hoc analytical reports and executive presentations for senior banking leadership
• Stay current on Power BI platform developments and financial services analytics best practices

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Power BI development experience with strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and financial data modelling
• Experience delivering BI solutions for banking or financial services data environments
• Strong understanding of banking financial metrics, operational data, and analytics reporting requirements
• Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300 or equivalent) preferred
• Contract availability for onsite engagement in Dubai
• Client requires onsite resources specialized in Business Intelligence especially in Power BI for banking insights
