Job Title: PCM Strategic Initiatives Manager

Job Description: This strategic role supports Barclays’ transformation agenda across the APAC and Middle East regions, working on payments innovation, fintech partnerships, and regulatory engagement initiatives that shape the bank’s future commercial capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the bank’s “Build the Bank” transformation initiatives across Asia Pacific and the Middle East
• Manage projects at the intersection of payments innovation, fintech partnerships, and regulatory engagement
• Coordinate internally with legal, finance, and operations to ensure feasibility and scalability
• Leverage external relationships and coalitions to support strategic goals
• Support senior leadership with programme delivery, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional coordination
• Monitor regulatory, fintech, and industry developments relevant to the bank’s strategic priorities

Qualifications Needed:

• Significant experience in government affairs, financial services, or fintech within the UAE or Gulf region
• Demonstrated experience managing senior-level client and stakeholder relationships
• Strong background in payments or financial services transformation
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects across legal, finance, and operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement
