Job Title: Head of Finance – Middle East

Job Description:The Head of Finance will oversee all financial operations of the UAE entity — from management accounting and regulatory reporting to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning — serving as the primary finance business partner for the Middle East General Manager and regional leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Finance function for the Middle East entity, overseeing all financial reporting, management accounting, and regulatory financial submissions to the DFSA
• Act as a trusted business partner to the Middle East General Manager and senior leadership team, providing financial insight and strategic analysis to drive commercial decision-making
• Oversee preparation of management accounts, financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for the regional entity
• Ensure compliance with DFSA financial reporting requirements and applicable UAE regulatory financial standards
• Manage statutory audit processes, external auditor relationships, and timely production of annual financial statements
• Oversee regional finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management
• Drive the modernisation and continuous improvement of finance operations and financial controls
• Partner with Group Finance to ensure alignment with global reporting standards and consolidated group financial management
• Monitor and manage the regional P&L, cost base, and financial performance versus budget and forecast

Qualifications Needed:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
• Proven experience as Head of Finance or Senior Finance Manager in a regulated financial services or fintech environment
• Strong knowledge of DFSA financial regulatory requirements or equivalent (FCA, MAS, ASIC) is highly advantageous
• Experience in forex, CFD, capital markets, or online trading businesses preferred
• Track record of acting as a strategic finance business partner to senior leadership
• Strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Dubai/UAE experience preferred; DIFC environment experience a significant advantage
