Job Title: Operations Cross-Function Associate

Job Description: As an Operations Cross-Function Associate at a globally established Japanese banking group’s Dubai branch, you will ensure the branch operates efficiently, safely, and in full alignment with internal controls and regulatory expectations — supporting cross-functional banking operations across the Middle East footprint with strong attention to detail and banking operational discipline.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the branch operates efficiently, safely, and in full alignment with internal controls and regulatory expectations
• Support cross-functional banking operations across the Middle East footprint
• Coordinate banking operations activities — trade finance, payment processing, compliance reporting, and regulatory filing
• Maintain operational records and documentation in line with banking regulatory standards
• Support transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation across banking products
• Coordinate with Front Office, Compliance, and Legal teams on operational banking activities
• Produce operational performance reports and management information for branch leadership
• Monitor operational risk and escalate issues affecting branch operational integrity and regulatory compliance

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven banking operations or cross-function associate experience within a globally established bank
• Strong attention to operational accuracy, internal controls, and regulatory compliance in branch banking
• Understanding of UAE banking regulatory environment and banking operations standards
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-functional banking operations coordination
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE banking client and regulatory engagement
