Job Title: iOS Engineer

Job Description: The iOS Engineer will build high-quality Swift features across HALA’s merchant payment and POS application — contributing to a fast-shipping mobile engineering team that delivers meaningful product experiences for Arabic-speaking SME merchants across

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain iOS application features for HALA’s merchant-facing payment and POS app
• Write high-quality Swift code using modern iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, SwiftUI or UIKit)
• Build and optimize payment flows, POS features, merchant analytics dashboards, and financial services features
• Ensure the app delivers excellent performance, reliability, and accessibility for HALA’s merchant user base
• Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and sprint planning
• Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Stay current on iOS platform updates, SwiftUI capabilities, and Apple Pay/payment SDK developments
• Contribute to improving HALA’s mobile engineering practices and codebase quality

Qualifications Needed:

• 4+ years of iOS software engineering experience in production consumer or merchant apps
• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK
• Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit, modern iOS architecture patterns, and Xcode tooling
• Experience with payment SDK integrations (Apple Pay, payment gateways, POS connectivity) is a strong advantage
• Fintech, payments, or merchant-facing mobile app experience preferred
• Arabic-language app development experience preferred
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh
