Job Title: IFRS9 & ECL Reporting Officer
Job Description: As the IFRS9 and ECL Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for running the Moodys IFRS9 RCO tool and maintaining the Expected Credit Loss framework in accordance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines [citation:3][citation:10].
Responsibilities:
- Generate IFRS9 ECL provision results quarterly for Group and Unit levels by running and managing the Moodys RCO [citation:3][citation:10].
- Engage with subsidiaries and business units to collect data, perform checks to validate accuracy, and reconcile Stage 3 accounts [citation:10].
- Validate the integration of the RCO with other risk management systems and perform UAT for changes.
- Support strategic risk management initiatives such as Stress Testing, ICAAP, and portfolio reporting [citation:3].
Qualifications Needed:
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar function with a large regional or global financial institution [citation:10].
- A graduate degree in a banking or finance field is required.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS9 regulations and credit risk measurement techniques [citation:3][citation:10].
- Hands-on proficiency in SQL and database technologies (SAS, R, Python) along with expert-level Excel skills [citation:3][citation:10].
