Job Title: Head of Distribution & Business Development,

Job Description: As the Head of Distribution and Business Development for Islamic Banking in the Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) division at a globally established bank, you will introduce new client relationships to grow the Islamic banking business — with job responsibilities including other Saadiq Islamic banking markets across the bank’s globally connected Islamic banking franchise.

Responsibilities:

• Introduce new client relationships to grow the Islamic banking business across Saadiq markets
• Lead distribution and business development for Islamic Banking in the Wealth and Retail Banking division
• Define and execute Islamic Banking distribution strategy — building partnerships, channels, and client acquisition
• Oversee Islamic Banking product distribution across retail, wealth, and digital banking channels
• Partner with Product, Compliance, and Sharia teams on Islamic banking product launch and distribution
• Monitor UAE and global Islamic banking market developments and competitive landscape
• Achieve Director-level Islamic Banking distribution revenue and AUM growth targets
• Build and maintain senior client and partner relationships through expert Saadiq Islamic banking advisory

Qualifications Needed:

• Significant Director or Head of Distribution leadership experience in Islamic Banking for WRB or wealth management
• Deep understanding of Saadiq Islamic banking products, Sharia compliance, and UAE Islamic finance regulatory landscape
• Proven track record growing Islamic banking business through new client acquisition and distribution partnerships
• Excellent leadership, commercial development, and senior stakeholder management skills
• Arabic language skills essential for UAE and Saadiq markets Islamic banking engagement
• CFA, CFP, or equivalent investment qualification preferred
