Job Title: Head of Compliance & Banking

Job Description: As a Head of Compliance and Banking at a fintech payments platform, you will bring a balance of deep regulatory knowledge and strong banking relationship management — overseeing both the compliance oversight and banking relationship mandates for a growing UAE-regulated fintech payments organization.

Responsibilities:

• Bring balance of deep regulatory knowledge and strong banking relationship management to the mandate
• Oversee compliance oversight and banking relationship management for a UAE-regulated fintech payments platform
• Lead AML/CFT compliance programme — KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions, and financial crime controls
• Manage banking partnerships — primary bank contact, account management, and trade finance operations
• Engage with CBUAE and applicable UAE regulators on payment compliance, licensing, and regulatory matters
• Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, banking facilities, and governance standards
• Produce compliance and banking performance reports for Board-level governance review
• Build and develop the compliance and banking team at a growing fintech payments organization

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Head of Compliance and Banking experience in fintech payments or regulated financial services
• Deep regulatory knowledge combined with strong banking relationship management skills — required
• CAMS or equivalent AML qualification required for Head of Compliance designation
• Deep understanding of UAE payment regulatory frameworks and banking relationship governance
• Excellent leadership, CBUAE regulatory engagement, and Board-level governance communication
• GCC fintech payments Head of Compliance and Banking experience strongly preferred
