Job Title: Head of Compliance

Job Description: As Head of Compliance for the MENA Region at a payments, software, financial services, and cryptocurrency group, you will oversee and manage the regulatory compliance program across the region, ensuring all operations, transactions, and business practices adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements while developing and implementing compliance policies and training staff.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the regulatory compliance program within the Group for the MENA Region
• Ensure all operations, transactions, and business practices adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement compliance policies across the MENA region
• Train staff on compliance requirements and regulatory expectations
• Conduct audits to verify adherence to compliance policies
• Work closely with regulatory bodies across the MENA region
• Use Leadership, Management & Accountability principles to guide the Compliance team while fostering an environment geared towards growth
• Step in and lead compliance initiatives as needed across the region

Qualifications Needed:

• Senior-level experience in regulatory compliance within payments, fintech, or financial services
• Proven experience developing and implementing compliance policies and frameworks
• Experience conducting compliance audits and working with regional regulatory bodies
• Strong leadership and staff training capabilities
• Alignment with a high-ethics, high-commitment, and innovation-driven working culture
• Experience overseeing compliance across multiple MENA jurisdictions
