Job Title: Head of Compliance

Job Description:Oversee regulatory adherence, AML, and governance for Deriv Capital Contracts and Currencies L.L.C in Dubai. Monitor UAE regulatory trends, develop compliance frameworks, manage internal and external reports, and lead risk assessments for a global leader in online trading and financial innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive oversight of regulatory adherence, AML, and governance for Deriv’s UAE trading entity
• Monitor UAE regulatory trends and proactively develop and update compliance frameworks in response to regulatory changes
• Manage internal and external regulatory reports and submissions to UAE authorities
• Lead risk assessments and oversee the AML/CFT compliance programme for the UAE entity
• Engage extensively with UAE regulators on licensing, governance, and compliance matters
• Lead and manage the compliance team, providing direction and professional development
• Advise senior leadership on regulatory obligations and compliance risk associated with new products and initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with UAE SCA and other applicable regulations governing CFD and derivatives activities

Qualifications Needed:

• Extensive experience with UAE regulators, particularly in the online trading, CFD, or derivatives sector
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead compliance teams
• Bilingual communication skills (Arabic and English) required
• Deep knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks applicable to capital markets, derivatives, and online trading
• Professional compliance certification (ICA, CAMS, CISI, or equivalent) preferred
