Strategic Mandate

This role exists at the intersection of digital payments architecture, transaction intelligence, and settlement system design. The appointment is designed for a senior fintech authority capable of conceptualising and governing high-volume, multi-rail payment ecosystems operating across borders, platforms, and currencies.

Operating remotely with Dubai as a strategic anchor, the role focuses on structural integrity rather than day-to-day operations, ensuring that payment flows are architected with precision, resilience, transparency, and long-term scalability. The mandate is deeply architectural and strategic, emphasizing payment system coherence, interoperability, and transaction intelligence maturity.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end digital payment ecosystems, covering initiation, routing, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation layers.
• Define transaction intelligence frameworks enabling real-time visibility, anomaly detection, and payment performance optimization.
• Design multi-rail payment strategies integrating cards, account-to-account, wallets, and emerging payment infrastructures.
• Establish settlement models that balance speed, cost efficiency, and systemic resilience.
• Develop governance structures for payment architecture evolution and platform extensibility.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering, data, and platform teams in a remote-first environment.
• Produce executive-grade architectural documentation suitable for institutional review and long-term reference.

Professional Profile

• 18+ years of experience in fintech payments architecture, transaction systems, or large-scale financial platforms.
• Deep expertise in payment flows, settlement mechanics, and transaction data structures.
• Proven ability to design systems operating at institutional transaction volumes.
• Strong strategic judgment and architectural clarity.
• Exceptional written and verbal executive communication skills.

Compensation Framework

• Annual Compensation: AED 950,000 – 1,500,000 (tax-free)
• Performance-based incentives linked to architectural robustness and system scalability
• Fully remote structure with optional strategic alignment sessions in Dubai
