Job Title: Global Head of Risk

Job Description: The Global Head of Risk will design and own OSL’s enterprise risk framework — covering market, credit, liquidity, operational, technology, and compliance risk across the Group’s regulated entities and business lines.

Responsibilities:

• Own and lead OSL’s enterprise risk management framework across all regulated entities — VARA (Dubai) and SFC (Hong Kong)
• Design risk governance structures, risk appetite statements, and control frameworks appropriate for a multi-jurisdictional digital asset institution
• Lead market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk functions — including stress testing, scenario analysis, and limit management
• Oversee technology and cybersecurity risk frameworks in coordination with the IT & Security team
• Chair the Risk Committee and present to the Board Risk Committee on all material risk matters
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Technology leadership on cross-functional risk governance
• Lead regulatory engagement on risk-related matters for both VARA and SFC regulatory requirements
• Build and develop the global risk team across OSL’s Dubai and Hong Kong offices

Qualifications Needed:

• 12+ years of risk management experience with significant time in a senior or Chief Risk Officer role at a regulated financial institution or digital asset firm
• Deep understanding of digital asset risk typologies including custody risk, market risk, and operational risk in crypto
• Experience with VARA and/or SFC risk regulatory frameworks strongly preferred
• Proven track record building enterprise risk frameworks in a multi-jurisdictional regulated environment
• Strong Board-level communication and governance skills
• FRM, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
