Job Description: As a Financial Linguist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial texts and documents using natural language processing (NLP) techniques. You will work at the intersection of finance and linguistics to extract insights and sentiment from financial news, reports, and social media.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial texts and documents using natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
• Extract key information, sentiment, and insights from financial news, reports, and social media.
• Develop and implement NLP models and algorithms for sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and topic modeling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate linguistic analysis into fintech products and systems.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in NLP and computational linguistics.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in natural language processing (NLP), computational linguistics, or related areas.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Strong understanding of linguistic principles and techniques.
