Job Title: Engineering Manager

Job Description: As an Engineering Manager at HALA Financing, you will lead and mentor a team of software engineers, driving technical strategy, delivery excellence, and team growth within the fintech lending and payments platform.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Drive technical strategy, system architecture, and best practices across the engineering organisation.
• Coordinate project planning, sprint execution, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.

Qualifications Needed:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in an engineering management role in fintech or technology.
• Strong technical background in Java, Go, or Python, cloud platforms, and microservices architecture.
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex fintech projects.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English.
