Job Title: EMEA Equity Research

Job Description: As an Equity Research Analyst covering CEEMEA Financials at a globally leading investment bank, you will apply proven experience in equity research, investment banking, or consulting with exposure to the banking and/or the broader financials sector — producing fundamental research coverage on financial services companies across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Apply proven experience in equity research, investment banking, or consulting with banking and/or broader financials sector exposure
• Produce fundamental equity research coverage on CEEMEA financial services companies — banks, fintechs, and insurance
• Build and maintain financial models for covered financial sector companies across the CEEMEA region
• Publish initiation of coverage reports, earnings previews, sector thematic research, and investment recommendations
• Conduct primary research — management meetings, industry channel checks, and expert interviews across CEEMEA
• Engage with institutional investor clients on research findings, investment ideas, and covered company analysis
• Monitor CEEMEA banking, fintech, and financial services sector developments, regulatory changes, and market dynamics
• Develop investment theses, price targets, and buy/sell/hold recommendations for CEEMEA financial sector companies

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven experience in equity research, investment banking, or consulting — with banking and/or broader financials sector exposure required
• Strong financial modelling, fundamental analysis, and investment thesis development skills for financial sector companies
• Deep understanding of CEEMEA banking, fintech, and financial services sector dynamics
• Excellent written research communication for institutional-quality research publication
• CFA qualification or in progress strongly preferred
• Arabic language skills advantageous for MENA financials research coverage
