Job Title: Due Diligence Manager – KYC Refresh

Job Description: As a Due Diligence Manager responsible for the KYC Refresh team at one of the UAE’s most innovative banks recognized as the number one UAE bank on the Forbes World’s Best Banks 2022 list, you will oversee the KYC refresh programme — ensuring full adherence to guidelines, managing a high-performing team of KYC analysts, and driving continuous improvement in due diligence quality and regulatory compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the KYC Refresh team — ensuring adherence to guidelines provided by bank compliance and regulatory standards
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of KYC review and approval analysts
• Drive continuous improvement in due diligence quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance standards
• Ensure all periodic KYC refresh reviews are completed accurately and on time in line with risk-based monitoring schedules
• Escalate complex or higher-risk KYC cases to senior compliance management with appropriate documentation
• Produce KYC refresh performance reporting and management information for Compliance leadership
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Legal, and Senior Compliance on complex client documentation matters
• Monitor UAE AML/CFT regulatory developments affecting KYC refresh programme requirements

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Due Diligence Manager or senior KYC management experience within a UAE banking institution
• Strong understanding of KYC refresh requirements, risk-based monitoring, and UAE banking AML/CFT standards
• Excellent team leadership, performance management, and compliance quality improvement skills
• Deep experience in CDD, EDD, and complex UBO structure review for corporate banking clients
• CAMS or equivalent AML qualification preferred
• UAE banking KYC management experience strongly preferred
