Job Title: Director, Digital Assets Risk

Job Description: As a Director, Digital Assets Risk, you will act as the second-line risk subject-matter expert for digital assets, evolving the enterprise risk-management approach and challenging initiatives across reputational, market, capital, liquidity, operational, technology, cyber, and credit-risk dimensions.

Responsibilities:

• Influence digital-assets strategy in line with risk appetite, governance, policies, and standards
• Provide regulatory interpretation and risk assessments for digital-asset products, initiatives, and investments
• Assess blockchain, tokenomics, and digital-asset ecosystem risks and recommend mitigations
• Guide development of the Digital Assets Risk Management Approach
• Advise business and risk stakeholders on digital-asset activities within approved parameters
• Support stress testing and scenario analysis for digital-asset exposures
• Review and challenge the digital-assets risk profile and control environment
• Engage regulators, industry stakeholders, and internal governance forums on emerging risks and technologies

Qualifications Needed:

• More than fifteen years of relevant financial-services risk experience
• Senior expertise across traded or market risk, credit risk, capital, liquidity, and treasury risk
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, tokenomics, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and central-bank digital currencies
• Knowledge of global digital-asset regulatory expectations and risk frameworks
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide independent second-line challenge
• Strong strategic judgment, regulatory communication, leadership, and governance skills
