Job Title: Digital Solutions API Integration Engineer

Job Description: As a Digital Solutions API Integration Engineer within the Client Service team at a globally leading payments technology network, you will provide direct API integration support for the onboarding and ongoing success of clients connecting through the Clients Developer Platform (VDP) — working with issuers, merchants, and mobile ecosystem partners to deliver API-based products into the CEMEA marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct API integration support for client onboarding and ongoing success through the VDP platform
• Work with diverse issuers, merchants, and mobile ecosystem partners to deliver API-based products into CEMEA
• Leverage deep understanding of REST APIs and technical experience to work with clients and internal resources
• Support and bring products to market quickly and with minimal friction for CEMEA payment ecosystem partners
• Troubleshoot API failures, network connectivity issues using logging and monitoring tools
• Use API testing tools such as Postman/SOAP and create API test scripts demonstrating integration functionality
• Create and review technical solution design documents and use case diagrams for API and SDK integrations
• Apply knowledge of cryptography concepts — encryption, signing, hashing, and cryptography algorithms

Qualifications Needed:

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and proven experience working with APIs, SDKs, and web services — required
• Knowledge of payment schemes, transaction flows, and ISO 8583 financial transaction messages — highly recommended
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, or related developer tools for API integration and testing
• Proven experience troubleshooting API failures and network connectivity issues using monitoring tools
• Knowledge of cryptography concepts — encryption, signing, hashing, and cryptographic algorithms
• Experience creating technical solution design documents and API integration use case diagrams
