Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Description: Seeking a DevOps Engineer in Dubai with experience in high-availability, security-sensitive environments, especially in fintech, blockchain, or distributed systems contexts. The role builds and maintains the infrastructure powering Tether’s digital finance and stablecoin platform.

Responsibilities:*

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for Tether’s digital finance and stablecoin platform
• Manage high-availability, security-sensitive infrastructure in a fintech, blockchain, or distributed systems context
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks for production systems
• Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes across Tether’s production environment
• Ensure infrastructure security controls meet requirements for a regulated digital finance company
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams on infrastructure design and operational resilience
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC tools (Terraform or equivalent)
• Support incident response and drive reliability improvements across Tether’s production infrastructure

Qualifications Needed:

• Experience in DevOps or site reliability engineering in high-availability, security-sensitive environments
• Specific experience in fintech, blockchain, or distributed systems contexts strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure as Code
• Production Kubernetes experience and containerization expertise
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, monitoring platforms, and incident management frameworks
• Understanding of security requirements and compliance controls for financial services infrastructure
