Job Title: Deputy VP – Unit Head, Client Acquisition

Job Description: As a Deputy Vice President and Unit Head for Client Acquisition covering SME and Commercial Lending at a fintech and financial data company disrupting the traditional debt ecosystem, you will lead the SME and commercial lending client acquisition function — building and managing a high-performance team that drives new business development across bond issuance, investments, lending, and financial solutions for SME and commercial clients across the UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the SME and commercial lending client acquisition function as Deputy VP and Unit Head
• Build and manage a high-performance team driving new business development across SME and commercial lending
• Drive client acquisition for bond issuance, investments, lending, and financial solutions for SME and commercial clients
• Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management
• Apply familiarity with the UAE market and regulatory landscape for corporate and SME financing
• Conduct needs assessments and pitching — understanding clients’ debt requirements and presenting tailored solutions
• Develop and execute SME client acquisition strategies across Dubai and broader UAE markets
• Monitor SME commercial lending market developments, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes

Qualifications Needed:

• Significant Deputy VP or senior commercial lending and SME client acquisition leadership experience
• Familiarity with the UAE market and regulatory landscape for corporate and SME financing — required
• Proven track record leading high-performance client acquisition teams in a fintech or banking environment
• Deep understanding of SME financial needs — debt, bond issuance, and working capital solutions
• Strong leadership, needs assessment, and commercial pitching skills for SME and commercial lending mandates
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE SME client engagement
