Job Title: Data Platform Engineer

Job Description: As a Data Platform Engineer, you will build data infrastructure for a BNPL provider, enabling analytics, risk, and product teams with reliable data.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data infrastructure, pipelines, and warehouses for the BNPL provider.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers on data requirements.
• Implement governance, security, and compliance controls for data.

Qualifications Needed:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in fintech, BNPL, or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster).
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery) and streaming (Kafka).
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills; fluent in English.
