Job Title: Data Analyst – Trading Platform

Job Description: The Data Analyst will analyse, process, and deliver accurate, actionable insights from diverse trading platform datasets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries across MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL to extract and manipulate data efficiently
• Reconcile and evaluate data from multiple sources, proactively identifying and resolving inconsistencies or discrepancies
• Design and implement strategies to enhance database structures, data integration pipelines, and overall reporting processes
• Design, build, and maintain data models, reports, and interactive dashboards to serve business stakeholders
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data, reports, and actionable insights
• Take initiative on ad-hoc analytical tasks and specialized projects as assigned by the Head of Department

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related technical field
• Strong hands-on experience with RDBMS, specifically MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques
• Hands-on experience with PowerBI for data visualization and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience working with trading platform databases (e.g., MT4, MT5, cTrader) and understanding of Forex markets preferred
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (SSIS / Visual Studio Data Tools) desirable
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation is a plus
• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into data analysis workflows is a plus
