Job Title: Cryptocurrency Trader

Job Description: Our Client is a VARA-regulated virtual asset company in Dubai seeking a skilled and experienced Crypto Trader. The role requires executing cryptocurrency trades, monitoring market trends, and implementing effective trading strategies to maximize profitability. The Crypto Trader works closely with finance, operations, and compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting, risk management, and adherence to all regulatory standards in a fast-paced, high-volatility market environment.

Responsibilities:

• Execute cryptocurrency trades across digital asset markets in accordance with trading strategies and risk parameters
• Monitor crypto market trends, price movements, and news to identify trading opportunities
• Conduct technical and fundamental analysis to inform trading decisions
• Work closely with finance, operations, and compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting and risk management
• Ensure all trading activities comply with VARA regulations and UAE compliance requirements
• Manage open positions within defined risk limits and portfolio objectives
• Prepare regular trading performance reports and summaries for management review
• Maintain familiarity with AML/CFT regulations related to crypto trading

Qualifications Needed:

• Previous experience in a fintech or trading firm under UAE regulations
• Proven experience as a crypto trader, preferably in UAE or VARA-regulated environments
• Familiarity with AML/CFT regulations related to crypto trading
• Strong analytical skills with ability to assess market conditions and execute decisions rapidly
• Up-to-date knowledge of crypto market trends and digital asset markets
• Deep knowledge of digital assets and solid understanding of VARA regulations
• Proactive, disciplined, and results-oriented professional able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volatility environment
