Job Title: Compliance Officer

Job Description: As a Compliance Officer, you will help a Bahrain fintech operate in line with local financial regulations and internal standards by overseeing AML, KYC, CTF, sanctions, monitoring, risk-assessment, training, and regulatory-engagement activities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor compliance with Bahrain regulations and AML, KYC, and CTF requirements
• Review customer onboarding, due diligence, and sanctions-screening processes
• Conduct compliance monitoring, audits, and risk assessments
• Investigate suspicious activity and support regulatory reporting
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Deliver compliance training and guidance to employees
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, and legal advisers during reviews
• Monitor regulatory changes and recommend policy updates

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
• Three to five years in compliance, AML/KYC, risk, or financial crime
• Experience within a bank, fintech, or financial institution
• Strong knowledge of Bahrain financial regulations and international standards
• CAMS or ICA certification is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and detail skills
