Job Title: Compliance Manager (Crypto / VASP Focus)

Job Description: The role requires 5–8 years of compliance experience with at least 2+ years specifically in crypto, virtual assets, or fintech, with day-to-day oversight of compliance and regulatory requirements for a VASP-licensed entity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day compliance and regulatory requirements for a VASP or crypto-focused fintech entity in Dubai
• Design and maintain AML/CFT frameworks, KYC/CDD procedures, and sanctions compliance controls specific to virtual assets
• Manage VARA regulatory relationships and compliance reporting obligations for the licensed entity
• Lead compliance monitoring, testing, and audit preparation for the crypto/VASP business
• Review product changes and new features for compliance implications before launch
• Maintain compliance registers, evidence libraries, and policy documentation
• Deliver AML/CFT training and build a strong compliance culture across all business functions
• Monitor emerging VARA and UAE regulatory developments affecting the virtual assets and crypto sector

Qualifications Needed:

• 5–8 years of compliance experience with at least 2+ years in crypto, virtual assets, or fintech
• Deep knowledge of VARA regulations and UAE AML/CFT requirements for virtual asset service providers
• Proven experience overseeing compliance for a VASP or crypto-focused regulated entity
• Experience maintaining compliance registers, evidence libraries, and policy documentation
• ICA, CAMS, or equivalent compliance qualification preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a strong advantage
