Job Title: Collections Manager – Retail Banking, NPL Recovery & Debt Restructuring

Job Description: As a Collections Manager for Retail Banking, NPL Recovery, and Debt Restructuring at a UAE banking institution, you will apply senior collections management expertise — leading the retail banking collections function, NPL portfolio recovery strategy, and client debt restructuring for a professionally managed UAE retail banking organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the retail banking collections function, NPL portfolio recovery strategy, and debt restructuring
• Apply senior collections management expertise to NPL resolution and portfolio risk reduction
• Develop and implement collections strategies — early arrears, pre-legal, legal, and debt restructuring
• Manage the collections team — setting targets, coaching, and performance management for recovery excellence
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams on NPL recovery, litigation, and write-off governance
• Engage with retail banking clients on debt restructuring, settlement, and workout arrangements
• Produce collections and NPL performance reports and management information for senior leadership
• Monitor UAE Central Bank collections regulatory requirements and NPL management standards

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Collections Manager experience with retail banking NPL recovery and debt restructuring background
• Strong collections strategy development, NPL portfolio management, and debt restructuring expertise
• Deep understanding of UAE Central Bank collections and retail lending regulatory requirements
• Excellent team leadership, client negotiation, and senior retail banking stakeholder management
• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred for collections manager mandate
• GCC retail banking collections NPL recovery and debt restructuring management experience strongly preferred
