Job Title: Chief Compliance Officer – SVF / Payments, CBUAE-Licensed Fintech

Job Description: As a Chief Compliance Officer at a CBUAE-licensed Stored Value Facility and payments fintech, you will own the compliance agenda end-to-end — building and managing compliance frameworks, AML/CFT programmes, and CBUAE regulatory relationships for a professionally managed UAE-regulated SVF and digital payments organization.

Responsibilities:

• Own the compliance agenda end-to-end for a CBUAE-licensed SVF and payments fintech organization
• Build and manage AML/CFT compliance frameworks, KYC procedures, and monitoring programmes for SVF operations
• Designate as MLRO — managing all AML/CFT obligations, STR filing, and UAE FIU regulatory reporting
• Engage with CBUAE on SVF licensing, regulatory reporting, examination readiness, and supervisory relations
• Oversee transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and financial crime operations for payments platform
• Build and develop the compliance team across SVF and digital payments operations
• Produce Board-level compliance reports and regulatory submission documentation for governance review
• Monitor CBUAE SVF, payments, and UAE AML regulatory developments for compliance programme strategy

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Chief Compliance Officer or senior compliance leadership experience with CBUAE SVF or payments background
• Deep knowledge of CBUAE SVF licensing, payment regulatory frameworks, and UAE AML/CFT standards
• Strong compliance agenda ownership, MLRO designation, and CBUAE regulatory engagement expertise
• CAMS or equivalent AML qualification required for CCO mandate at CBUAE-licensed fintech
• Excellent leadership, CBUAE regulatory engagement, and Board-level compliance governance communication
• GCC CBUAE-licensed SVF or payments fintech Chief Compliance Officer experience strongly preferred
